\u5716\u7247\u6240\u898b\u7684\u7684\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\uff0c\u4f86\u81ea\u5df2\u6545\u5510\u767c\u559c\u5e2b\u5085\u5e97\u88e1\u7684\u5eab\u5b58\u3002\u7531\u65bc\u6709\u4e0d\u540c\u7a0b\u5ea6\u7684\u8b8a\u8272\u548c\u8001\u5316\uff0c\u4e0d\u9069\u5408\u518d\u7528\u4f86\u505a\u65d7\u888d\u7684\u7dc4\u908a\uff0c\u65bc\u662f\u8f3e\u8f49\u4f86\u5230\u6211\u624b\u4e2d\uff0c\u6210\u70ba\u6211\u5275\u4f5c\u82b1\u7d10\u7684\u6750\u6599\u3002\u65e9\u9663\u5b50\u91cd\u65b0\u6574\u7406\u6642\uff0c\u9806\u4fbf\u6578\u4e86\u4e00\u4e0b\uff0c\u5408\u5171\u6709160\u7a2e\u984f\u8272\uff0c\u5168\u90e8\u92ea\u958b\u5728\u67b1\u9762\u4e0a\uff0c\u82b1\u5718\u9326\u7c07\uff0c\u751a\u70ba\u58ef\u89c0\uff01\u8981\u77e5\u9053\u9019\u88e1\u53ea\u662f\u5c11\u90e8\u5206\u72c0\u6cc1\u4e0d\u4f73\u7684\u5eab\u5b58\uff0c\u82e5\u679c\u518d\u52a0\u4e0a\u5176\u9918\u72c0\u6cc1\u826f\u597d\u7684\u5eab\u5b58\uff0c\u7576\u5e74\u5510\u5e2b\u5085\u5e97\u88e1\u61c9\u8a72\u6709\u4e8c\u3001\u4e09\u767e\u7a2e\u984f\u8272\u7684\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\uff01\u6e2f\u5f0f\u65d7\u888d\u7dc4\u908a\u548c\u82b1\u7d10\u984f\u8272\u8207\u9762\u6599\u5b8c\u7f8e\u914d\u5408\uff0c\u9019\u4e9b\u534a\u7d72\u7dde\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u53a5\u529f\u751a\u5049\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u73fe\u5728\u7528\u534a\u7d72\u7dde\u505a\u65d7\u888d\u7dc4\u908a\uff0c\u9664\u4e86\u4e00\u4e9b\u8001\u5e2b\u5085\u9084\u6709\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5eab\u5b58\u80fd\u70ba\u5ba2\u4eba\u914d\u8272\u5916\uff0c\u57fa\u672c\u61c9\u8a72\u90fd\u4e0d\u6703\u518d\u6709\u4e86\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u5df2\u7d93\u8cb7\u4e0d\u5230\u9019\u4e9b\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u3002\u5f9e\u524d\uff0c\u65d7\u888d\u5e2b\u5085\u6703\u53bb\u6709\u5c08\u9580\u8ce3\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u7684\u5e97\uff0c\u70ba\u5ba2\u4eba\u7684\u4f86\u6599\u914d\u7dc4\u908a\u984f\u8272\u3002\u9019\u4e9b\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\uff0c\u5df2\u7d93\u9810\u5148\u659c\u88c1\uff0c\u5e2b\u5085\u8cb7\u56de\u53bb\u5c31\u53ef\u4ee5\u76f4\u63a5\u88c1\u6210\u689d\u5b50\u4f86\u7528\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u8cb7\u9019\u4e9b\u5e03\uff0c\u4e26\u4e0d\u662f\u6309\u78bc\u6216\u7c73\u8cb7\u7684\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u6309\u5510\u5bf8\u4f86\u8cb7\u7684\u3002\u7336\u8a18\u5f97\uff0c\u7576\u5e74\u6700\u5c11\u53ef\u4ee5\u8cb74\u5510\u5bf8\uff08\u7d0415\u5398\u7c73\uff09\u7684\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\uff0c\u525b\u597d\u8db3\u5920\u505a\u4e00\u4ef6\u65d7\u888d\u7684\u7dc4\u908a\u3002\u5716\u4e8c\u662f\u5176\u4e2d\u4e00\u9593\u6709\u8ce3\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u7684\u5efa\u7f8e\u7da2\u7dde\uff0c\u6211\u5728\u7db2\u4e0a\u627e\u5230\u7576\u5e74\u7684\u7167\u7247\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u898b\u5230\u5e97\u88e1\u7684\u4e00\u6574\u9762\u7246\uff0c\u5e03\u67b6\u4e0a\u5168\u662f\u5404\u7a2e\u6df1\u6dfa\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\uff0c\u984f\u8272\u5c11\u8aaa\u4e5f\u6709\u4e8c\u4e09\u767e\u7a2e\uff01\u7531\u65bc\u4e00\u822c\u8cb7\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u90fd\u662f\u8cb7\u4e00\u5c0f\u5e45\u5e03\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u53c8\u662f\u5df2\u7d93\u659c\u88c1\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u5e97\u88e1\u7684\u67b1\u9762\u4e5f\u6709\u7279\u5225\u7684\u6a19\u5c3a\u4f86\u88c1\u526a\u9019\u4e9b\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u3002\u5df2\u7d93\u659c\u88c1\u7684\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u5e03\u982d\u5448\u5e73\u884c\u56db\u908a\u578b\uff0c\u5c0d\u6e96\u67b1\u9762\u5169\u7aef\u7684\u6a19\u5c3a\u92ea\u59a5\uff0c\u6309\u6a19\u5c3a\u523b\u5ea6\u7528\u7c89\u7d72\u888b\u5f48\u4e00\u9053\u7c89\u7dda\uff0c\u518d\u526a\u51fa\u4f86\u7d66\u5ba2\u4eba\u3002\u5716\u4e09\u662f\u5efa\u7f8e\u73fe\u5740\u5e97\u5167\u7684\u67b1\u9762\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u898b\u5230\u67b1\u9762\u90a3\u4e00\u9053\u7279\u5225\u7684\u5510\u5bf8\u6a19\u5c3a\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u7528\u4f86\u88c1\u526a\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u5c08\u7528\u7684\u3002\u6211\u5fc3\u8840\u4f86\u6f6e\u5beb\u9019\u4e00\u7bc7\u5c0f\u6587\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u6642\u9593\u89aa\u8eab\u53bb\u5e97\u88e1\u62cd\u7167\uff0c\u53ea\u80fd\u5728\u7db2\u4e0a\u622a\u5716\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u5c07\u4f86\u6709\u6a5f\u6703\u88dc\u4e0a\u6bd4\u8f03\u597d\u7684\u7167\u7247\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u96a8\u7740\u7dc4\u908a\u5e03\u9700\u6c42\u6e1b\u5c11\uff0c\u67d3\u5ee0\u53c8\u4e0d\u9858\u610f\u63a5\u67d3\u5c11\u91cf\u5e03\u7684\u8a02\u55ae\uff0c\u7dc4\u689d\u5e03\u5e7e\u5e74\u524d\u5df2\u7d93\u6d88\u5931\u65bc\u5e02\u9762\u3002\u73fe\u6642\u7684\u66ff\u4ee3\u54c1\uff0c\u6709\u5149\u660e\u7dde\u3001\u9ad8\u5bc6\u5ea6\u8272\u4e01\u3001\u771f\u7d72\u7d20\u7e10\u7dde\u548c\u9810\u5148\u5305\u88dd\u7dc4\u689d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those colorful fabrics in the first photo are small part of leftover stock belonged to deceased Cheongsam tailor Master Tong. These fabrics are semi-silk satin, traditional material used for cheongsam binding and flower buttons. There are around 160 colours in this batch. Since there are different levels of discoloring and some became too fragile to be used for making clothes, now I used them to create my flower buttons design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 years ago, we could still buy these specially dyed and cut fabric from specialist. These fabrics were dyed in different shades of colours, and were already pre-cut in bias, so that tailor could directly cut out stripes to use as binding. Photo 2 was one of the specialist store selling these binding fabric. The full piece of wall was covered with these fabrics and you can see there were hundreds of colours and shades. Since these fabric were precut in bias, so the edge of the fabric was in diagonal. To cut out the desired length, these stores usually equipped with a pair of diagonal Cantonese ruler mount on the cutting bed, one ruler on each side of the bed, you can see this mounted ruler in Photo 3. These fabrics were not sold in meter or yard, they were sold in \u201cCun\u201d (Chinese inch). One could buy as little as 4 Cun (around 15 cm), which would be enough to make one cheongsam\u2019s binding. With years of experience, professional tailors usually built up their collections of binding fabric, and thus if you custom made a cheongsam with these old tailors, they might still use these fabric to make binding for your cheongsam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With little demand of cheongsam binding, and dyeing factory not willing to take small orders, these specially made binding fabric completely disappeared in the market few years ago. Nowadays, different types of satin or packaged bias cut binding are used as replacement.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
